Uniek x M/FW21

Uniek x M/FW21

We are beyond excited to announce UNIEK will feature in this year’s Melbourne Fashion Week.

2021 has certainly been one of those years.  We excitedly launched on April 28th after 12 months of hard work creating a label designed and made in Melbourne for you.

Who would have thought that we could top 2020 and end up being the world’s most locked down city…a huge challenge for a small business finding their way in the world of fashion.

But through all of this we have had wins along the way – you, our customers loving our products, an industry connecting with what we stand for and now Melbourne Fashion Week.

We have been supported by so many people along the way and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We have some exciting announcements to share throughout the festival and can’t wait to show you all the BTS of M/FW21.  UNIEK will feature in one of six amazing pop-up runways that will take you on a journey through our beautiful city.

Melbourne Fashion Week returns 15-21 November for a packed program featuring runways, pop up experiences, industry talks, workshops, exhibitions and more – all set to celebrate and lift up the city’s thriving fashion scene, its talented designers, much-loved retail spaces and creative community.

This year, the event takes over multiple stand-out spaces across the entire city for the runways – from the deep sea corridors of Melbourne Aquarium to the underground space of an iconic city stadium, witness looks from much-loved designer favourites all to the backdrop of these unique venues.

Beyond the runway, the free M/FW Conversations series is set to ask the big questions facing fashion today – does visibility equal power? How can you identify greenwashing? What’s the role of digital fashion marketplaces? And how can the industry evolve after recent upheavals in fashion? To top it all off, the Fashion Capsules return to the M/FW calendar bringing art and fashion together for this series of exhibitions across, while free roving pop-up experiences take over city streets and laneways offer an element of surprise, live performance and delight.
